Wide-Application Thermocouple Probes
Available273 products
Wide-application thermocouple probes consist of welded wires that sense temperature changes. Thermocouple probes are more durable and handle higher temperature ranges than other sensors. They typically have a grounded, ungrounded, or ungrounded tip with a solid probe or bare wire sensor. They are used for applications where many probes are needed, or where broad temperature ranges must be measured. Threaded thermocouple probes have thread-mounted sensors for fixed-position temperature measurement of closed vessels like tanks or pipes. Bayonet and compression thermocouple probes have fittings that lock them into place. Flex-wire thermocouple probes have an insulated cable with a beaded junction on the sensing end with the terminal end connected to a meter or receiver to record temperatures. Handheld thermocouple probes typically have durable plastic or steel handles. Direct-connect probes are used when quick installations are required.
