Direct Connect Thermocouple Probes
Available51 products
Direct-connect thermocouple probes do not have a cord or cable and are not intended for permanent or fixed installations. Also known as quick-disconnect probes, they consist of a sensor and 3-pin connection type. They are often used where quick installation and removal are important requirements of the measuring device.
Direct Connect Thermocouple for Liquid & Gas Applications
These probes have straight and slim sensors with a fully enclosed or ungrounded probe that’s inserted into liquids, gels, and gases to measure temperatures. Also called immersion probes, these direct-connect probes are not made for fixed installations and are commonly used in industrial process applications and production environments.

Direct Connect Thermocouple for Solid & Semi-Solid Applications
These direct-connect thermocouple probes measure the temperatures of solid or semi-solid materials. Also known as insertion and penetration probes, they’re built with short or long straight sensors with a blunt, sharp, or reduced-diameter tip. The pointed tip is used to penetrate and measure the internal temperature of materials. They are commonly used to measure the temperature of molten plastics and rubbers and for recording temperatures in food production, storage, and transportation applications.

Direct Connect Thermocouple for Air Applications
These thermocouple probes measure the temperature of air and gases. Also known as air probes, they’re built with the sensor tip exposed to air flow. The tip is housed in a perforated metal shield that protects it from the elements and ensures accuracy and fast response time. These direct-connect probes have a consistent diameter that makes them compatible with ducts, grilles, and vents.
