Carbon Steel MIG Welding Wire
Carbon steel MIG (metal inert gas) wire provides filler metal for welding carbon steel. This solid wire requires external shielding gas to keep contaminants out of the weld pool during welding. It comes on a coil or spool and is fed through a compatible welding gun in GMAW (gas metal arc welding) tasks.

ER70S-7 MIG Welding Wire
ER70S-7 MIG welding wire provides better wetting and bead appearance than ER70S-3 MIG welding wire. It also may allow for faster travel speeds than ER70S-3 MIG welding wire. Welds made with ER70S-7 MIG welding wire may be slightly harder than welds made from ER70S-3 welding wire but not as hard as welds made with ER70S-6 welding wire. ER70S-7 welding wire is commonly used for welding light-gauge steels, pipes, steel frames, and high-strength steels in automobiles.
