Rotary actuators convert compressed air from a cylinder stroke into oscillating rotary motion. Also referred to as rotaries, they provide accurate and repeatable oscillating strokes between two positions when used in automated systems for industrial and manufacturing applications.
Vane-Style Rotary Actuators
Vane-style rotary actuators utilize a cylindrical chamber with a vane mounted on a central shaft inside. Air pressure is applied alternately to the sides of the vane, forcing the shaft to rotate and create oscillating rotary motion in shipping, conveying, and medical equipment applications.
