Aramid Gaskets with Oil-Resistant Buna-N Binder

Available398 products

These flange gaskets are made of wear-resistant aramid fibers and are blended with an oil-resistant Buna-N binder. Buna-N (nitrile) is a synthetic rubber that resists oils, water, aliphatic hydrocarbons, and gasoline and is used in industrial piping systems for petrochemical processing, power generation, and pulp and paper manufacturing.

Aramid/Buna-N Full-Face Gaskets

Aramid/Buna-N Full-Face Gaskets
Aramid/Buna-N full-face gaskets cover the entire surface area of the flange and include holes to insert flange bolts and ease alignment. The gasket extends to the outside diameter of the flange which prevents dirt and contaminants from entering the joint. These gaskets are typically used with flat-face (FF) flange fittings so that the mating flange components fit flush against the gasket. Full-face gaskets require the joint to be disassembled to install.

Aramid/Buna-N Ring Gaskets

Aramid/Buna-N Ring Gaskets
Aramid/Buna-N ring gaskets sit against the internal edge of the flange, around the pipe bore, and inside the bolts. They are typically positioned onto the raised surface of a raised-face (RF) flange. Ring gaskets install by dropping them into the flange fitting without fully disassembling the joint.

Aramid/Buna-N Ring Gaskets with Flange Bolts

Aramid/Buna-N Ring Gaskets with Flange Bolts
These aramid/Buna-N ring gaskets include flange bolts which are often needed when a gasket is replaced. Ring gaskets sit against the internal edge of the flange, around the pipe bore, and inside the bolts. They are typically positioned onto the raised surface of a raised-face (RF) flange. Ring gaskets install by dropping them into the flange fitting without fully disassembling the joint.

Inorganic Fiber/Buna-N Full-Face Gaskets

Inorganic Fiber/Buna-N Full-Face Gaskets

These full-face flange gaskets are made of inorganic fibers that are blended with a Buna-N binder. The compressed fiber is resistant to high temperatures and doesn’t lose thickness, or creep, when force is applied. Full-face gaskets cover the entire surface area of the flange and include holes to insert flange bolts and ease alignment. The gasket extends to the outside diameter of the flange which prevents dirt and contaminants from entering the joint. These gaskets are typically used with flat-face (FF) flange fittings so that the mating flange components fit flush against the gasket. Full-face gaskets require the joint to be disassembled to install.
