Angle plates are precision ground and machined to secure workpieces at a 90° angle to ensure accurate machining in high-precision applications. Angle plates secure to a flat table and the workpiece is clamped against the angle plate.

Universal Right-Angle Irons
Universal right-angle irons clamp workpieces and have four square corners to ensure clamped workpieces are square before machining. They can also be used as reference blocks when measuring and testing quality using an indicator.
