Vehicle banded cogged V-belts are two single V-belts that are fused together to create ribs in a V-belt with reinforced backing. Also called multi-groove or combination V-belts, their banded cover offers more stability than two, single V-belts, and provides additional protection against heat and oil. These V-belts transmit power to accessory systems in trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles.
2B17 Series Cogged V-Belts
2B17 series V-belts are constructed of two V-belts fused together to create two ribs in a V-belt with reinforced backing. They have grooves across the width of the belt to dissipate heat. These V-belts have a nominal top width of 1-1/8" (actual dimensions may vary slightly).
