Lighting Photocells
Available79 products
Lighting photocells switch a device on or off in response to changes in sunlight, typically turning a light on in response to the sun setting and switching the light off when the sun rises. These photocells are used in many outdoor lighting applications, like walkways, parking lots, and recreational areas in parks, schools, commercial, and industrial settings.
Fixed Stem-Mounted Photocells
Fixed stem-mounted photocells consist of a threaded base that attaches to a conduit to feed wire leads through to lighting elements. The photocell's base is immobile and the photosensor cannot be repositioned once it is installed.

Flush-Mounted Photocells
Flush-mounted photocells allow the bulk of their housing to be enclosed inside a wall or within the device it's controlling. This mounting style protects the components and is more visually appealing compared to stem-mounted or turn-locking photocells.

Shorting Caps & Plugs for Turn-Locking Photocells
Shorting caps and plugs for turn-locking photocells block the ability of the sensing element to control the lighting device. These devices are used to manually switch lighting on and off during maintenance or if personnel plan to work after-hours temporarily.
