Welding booths have four sides to fully enclose a welding area to protect surrounding areas and passersby from sparks, spatter, and some ultraviolet (UV) light. Sometimes called welding cells, they have curtains on one or more sides to provide easy access. Booths can be set up temporarily and moved as needed or installed for permanent workspaces.
