Stud Welders
Available5 products
Stud welders connect to compatible stud welding guns and supply current to weld studs held in the guns. The current melts the base of the studs and an area of the workpiece to fuse them and create a weld. The stud welding process permanently joins the studs to one side of the workpiece while leaving the other side unmarred. It takes less time than if the fasteners were installed using drilling, tapping, punching, or screwing.
CD Stud Welders
CD (capacitor discharge) stud welders connect to compatible CD stud welding guns and supply current to weld studs held in the guns. CD stud welding uses lower levels of heat and requires less time to form a weld than drawn arc weld stud welding. It is suitable for use on sheet metal and other thin materials that would be marred by the drawn arc welding process.

Drawn Arc Stud Welders
Drawn arc stud welders connect to compatible drawn arc stud welding guns and supply current to weld studs held in the guns. Drawn arc stud welding forms strong, vibration-resistant welds that provide a tight seal against water, oil, air, or gas leaks at the weld point. It is suitable for welding applications on thick materials that require larger-diameter studs than CD (capacitor discharge) weld studs.
