Spot Welding Tongs
Available3 products
Spot welding tongs clamp onto a workpiece to hold a joint together and provide pressure for the spot welding process. They have two tips that conduct electric current from the tongs to the joint, and the current melts and fuses the material at the joint to create the weld. Spot welding is less likely to damage thinner materials such as sheet metal and wire mesh than arc welding or soldering. It is often used in auto body assembly and repair.
