Spot Welding Tips
Available4 products
Spot welding tips install onto compatible spot welding tongs, and the tongs clamp onto a workpiece to hold a joint together and provide pressure for the spot welding process. The tips conduct electric current from the tongs to the joint, and the current melts and fuses the material at the joint to create a weld. Spot welding is less likely to damage thinner materials such as sheet metal and wire mesh than arc welding or soldering. It is commonly used in auto body assembly and repair.
