Plastic Welding Tips
Available10 products
These tips attach to compatible plastic welders to focus and direct hot air to plastic workpieces in plastic welding tasks.
Speed Welding Tips
Speed tips are suitable for welding large areas. Plastic welding rods are automatically fed through the tips, which allows for faster welding than would be possible with hand-welding tips. The tip directs hot air to the welding joint, and the hot air melts and fuses material from the plastic welding rod and the workpiece to create a strong weld at the joint.

Hand-Welding Tips
Hand-welding tips are commonly used for welding areas that are difficult to access, such as internal corners. They require the plastic welding rod to be manually fed into the joint. The tip directs hot air to the welding joint, and the hot air melts and fuses material from the plastic welding rod and the workpiece to create a strong weld at the joint.

Tacking Tips
Tacking tips are used to lightly fasten together two thermoplastic parts before welding. Tacking keeps the parts aligned during welding and can eliminate the need for using jigs, fixtures, or clamps to hold the parts in place. The tacking tip is touched to the area where the parts meet to melt a small amount of material and create a low-strength joint.
