CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) plastic welding rods supply filler material for joining or repairing CPVC parts in plastic welding applications. A plastic welder or heat gun supplies heat to the welding joint on a plastic workpiece, and the heat melts and fuses material from the plastic rod and the workpiece to create a strong weld at the joint.
CPVC Welding Rods
CPVC welding rods create welds that withstand higher temperatures than welds made from PVC type 1 welding rods. CPVC welds also resist chemicals and impacts. These rods are commonly used to weld CPVC parts on plating equipment, tanks, etchers, fume hoods, and air scrubbers.
