Copper TIG Welding Rods
Available18 products
Copper TIG (tungsten inert gas) rods provide filler metal for welding copper and other compatible metals. Also known as TIG cut lengths, they are fed into the weld joint to add material for building up the weld. The heat from the GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding) process melts material from the rod and the workpiece, and the molten material fuses to create the weld.
Aluminum-Bronze TIG Welding Rods
Aluminum-bronze TIG rods are used for welding aluminum-bronze alloys to themselves or to cast iron, carbon steel, copper, bronze, or copper-nickel alloys. They are commonly used for building up or overlaying cast iron or steel surfaces to provide corrosion resistance.

Deoxidized Copper TIG Welding Rods
Deoxidized copper TIG rods are used for welding copper to copper, or copper to mild steel or galvanized steel in welding applications that do not require high-strength joints. They are commonly used for welding copper pipes, tanks, and fittings. They are also used for overlaying steel surfaces to provide corrosion resistance.

Silicon-Bronze TIG Welding Rods
Silicon-bronze TIG rods are used for welding copper, copper-silicon alloys, and copper-zinc alloys to themselves and to steel. They are also used for joining plain or galvanized sheet steel to metals or coated steel. These rods are commonly used for surfacing areas that may be prone to erosion.
