Low-Alloy Steel Stick Welding Electrodes
Available38 products
Low-alloy steel stick electrodes provide filler metal for welding low-alloy steel in SMAW (shielded metal arc welding) tasks. These welding rods have a coating that releases shielding gas as it's heated, which helps keep contaminants out of the weld pool. This means the electrodes don't require an external source of shielding gas, so they can be used in windy outdoor areas.
E7010-P1 Stick Welding Electrodes
E7010-P1 stick welding electrodes are used for welding American Petroleum Institute (API) 5L grades X46, X52, and X56 steel pipe. Also known as fast-freeze electrodes, the electrodes deposit molten material that solidifies quickly. This allows the electrodes to be used for welding in all positions.

E8018-B2 Stick Welding Electrodes
E8018-B2 stick welding electrodes are used for welding low-alloy steel containing 1.25% chromium and 0.5% molybdenum. These low-hydrogen electrodes feature a coating that minimizes the amount of hydrogen they absorb from the atmosphere and the welding process. This helps prevent diffusible hydrogen from being deposited into the weld pool and helps avoid hydrogen-induced cracking and weld failure.

E8018-C1 Stick Welding Electrodes
E8018-C1 stick welding electrodes are used for welding low-alloy steel containing 2.25% nickel. These low-hydrogen electrodes feature a coating that minimizes the amount of hydrogen they absorb from the atmosphere and the welding process. This helps prevent diffusible hydrogen from being deposited into the weld pool and helps avoid hydrogen-induced cracking and weld failure.

E8018-C3 Stick Welding Electrodes
E8018-C3 stick welding electrodes are used for welding low-alloy steel containing 1% nickel. These low-hydrogen electrodes feature a coating that minimizes the amount of hydrogen they absorb from the atmosphere and the welding process. This helps prevent diffusible hydrogen from being deposited into the weld pool and helps avoid hydrogen-induced cracking and weld failure.

E9018-B3 Stick Welding Electrodes
E9018-B3 stick welding electrodes have a higher tensile strength than E8018-B2 stick electrodes and are used for welding low-alloy steel containing 1.25% chromium and 0.5% molybdenum. These low-hydrogen electrodes feature a coating that minimizes the amount of hydrogen they absorb from the atmosphere and the welding process. This helps prevent diffusible hydrogen from being deposited into the weld pool and helps avoid hydrogen-induced cracking and weld failure.

E9018M Stick Welding Electrodes
E9018-M stick welding electrodes are used for welding high-strength low-alloy steels, such as HY-80, HY-90, and ASTM A514. These low-hydrogen electrodes feature a coating that minimizes the amount of hydrogen they absorb from the atmosphere and the welding process. This helps prevent diffusible hydrogen from being deposited into the weld pool and helps avoid hydrogen-induced cracking and weld failure.
