TIG Torch Bodies

Available30 products
TIG (tungsten inert gas) torch bodies connect to compatible torch handles and consumables to create TIG torches. They are commonly used to replace torch bodies on existing torches. A complete TIG torch setup includes a nozzle, collet body or gas lens, collet, insulators, back cap, torch body, torch handle, and tungsten electrode. The TIG torch body should have a maximum amperage rating that meets or exceeds the maximum amperage rating of the welder.

Air-Cooled TIG Torch Bodies

Air-Cooled TIG Torch Bodies

These torch bodies connect to compatible torch handles and consumables to create air-cooled TIG torches. The torches are cooled by ambient air and shielding gas during welding tasks and do not require an external water source and water hoses. They are typically easier to set up and maintain and better suited for outdoor use or mobile welding applications than water-cooled torches. They may become too hot to hold if used for long periods of time and are best suited for short, low-amperage welding applications.

Water-Cooled TIG Torch Bodies

Water-Cooled TIG Torch Bodies

These torch bodies connect to compatible torch handles and consumables to create water-cooled TIG torches, which are cooled by water or coolant during welding tasks. Water-cooled torches require hoses and an external source of water or coolant to operate, so they are ideal for stationary welding setups. They do not get too hot to hold when used for long, continuous welding tasks, and they can be used in high-amperage welding applications.
