TIG Insulators & Gaskets
Available18 products
Insulators and gaskets install between the components on compatible TIG (tungsten inert gas) torches. They create a seal that prevents shielding gas from escaping, which can cause irregularities in the weld. A complete TIG torch setup includes a nozzle, collet body or gas lens, collet, insulators, back cap, torch body, torch handle, and tungsten electrode.
Nozzle Insulators
Nozzle insulators are used in TIG torch setups that include a collet body. Also known as cup gaskets or heat shields, the insulators protect the torch consumables from high heat and create a seal between the nozzle and the torch that prevents shielding gas from escaping.

Gas Lens Insulators
These insulators are used in TIG torch setups that include a standard gas lens. Also known as gas lens cup gaskets or heat shields, the insulators protect the torch consumables from high heat and create a seal between the nozzle and the torch that prevents shielding gas from escaping.

Stubby Nozzle Insulators
Stubby nozzle insulators are used in TIG torch setups that include a stubby collet body. Also known as cup gaskets or heat shields, the insulators protect the torch consumables from high heat and create a seal between the nozzle and the torch that prevents shielding gas from escaping.

Large-Diameter Gas Lens Insulators
These insulators are used in TIG torch setups that include a large-diameter gas lens. Also known as gas lens cup gaskets or heat shields, the insulators protect the torch consumables from high heat and create a seal between the nozzle and the torch that prevents shielding gas from escaping.

Back Cap Insulators
Back cap insulators create a seal with the back cap O-ring to prevent shielding gas leaks. Also known as inserts, they install between the back cap and the collet and nozzle assembly on a TIG torch.
