TIG Gas Lenses & Collet Bodies
Gas Lenses
These standard gas lenses are used in TIG torch setups that include a gas lens nozzle. Also called gas diffusers, they have mesh screens that reduce turbulence in the shielding gas stream as it is released into a nozzle, which helps ensure the gas is evenly distributed across the weld pool. They are commonly used in TIG welding applications on stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum. Gas lenses also allow the tungsten electrode to stick out of the nozzle further than collet bodies without sacrificing gas coverage, which helps improve the operator's view of the arc and weld pool when welding in tight areas.

Collet Bodies
Collet bodies are used in TIG torch setups that include a standard nozzle. They have holes on the sides through which shielding gas is released into the nozzle.

Large-Diameter Gas Lenses
Large-diameter gas lenses are used in TIG torch setups that include a large-diameter gas lens nozzle. They provide more shielding gas coverage to the weld pool than standard gas lenses. Also called gas diffusers, the lenses have mesh screens that reduce turbulence in the shielding gas stream as it is released into a nozzle, which helps ensure the gas is evenly distributed across the weld pool.

Stubby Collet Bodies
Stubby collet bodies are used in TIG torch setups that include a standard nozzle. They are shorter and provide better access to hard-to-reach areas than other collet bodies. They have holes on the sides through which shielding gas is released into the nozzle.
