Collectors produce strong suction to draw dust into their hose and through their multi-stage filters to capture fine particles. Also known as industrial dust extractors, they typically have a more powerful motor and larger tank than shop-style vacuum extractors. They are most commonly used for silica dust extraction but also clean up dust from construction, woodworking, bulk material handling, and other processes that produce large volumes of dust. These corded units plug into an outlet to maintain full power during operation and allow long run times for extended use.
