Band files move a narrow abrasive belt around a contact arm to remove material in corners, along joints and edges, within grooves and recesses, and from other tight spaces. Also known as mini belt sanders and file belt sanders, they produce faster, more uniform results than hand and finger sanding and get into areas that disc sanders and grinders can't. These band file sanders accept a variety of belt grits to grind, debur, clean, blend, and polish.
