The edge of grout removal blades is coated with abrasive grit for grinding grout from joints and grooves. These blades attach to an oscillating multi-tool to clear grout lines so that tile can be regrouted. They are sometimes used to cut and shape plaster.

FEIN grout removal blades have a Starlock, StarlockPlus, or closed-back connector. Starlock blades are a direct fit on FEIN oscillating tools and other brands with a Starlock, StarlockPlus, or StarlockMax mount. They also work with a Starlock to oscillating interface system (OIS) adapter for compatibility with non-Starlock tools. StarlockPlus blades are a direct fit on tools with a StarlockPlus or StarlockMax mount. Blades with a closed-back connector fit FEIN MultiMaster tools.
