Rebar tie wire wraps around intersections of reinforcing bars to prevent shifting when concrete is poured. Also known as rebar tying wire, it maintains positioning of rebar grids so that concrete forms around the bars for proper reinforcement. Tie wire is sometimes used for baling, bundling, and support applications.

These coils or spools of tie wire work with compatible rebar tying tools, which apply the wire to rebar. The wire resists corrosion and has high tensile strength to bend without breaking.
