Jointers
Available9 products
Jointers remove bows, cups, and twists from rough-sawn lumber to create boards that have one perfectly flat face with a straight, square edge. Multiple blades in the cutter head shave off material to flatten the boards. Jointers are typically used before planers, which smooth and level the opposing face to match the flat face.
Jointers
The long bed of these jointers supports workpieces, so they can be guided along the fence and pushed over the cutter head. The bed moves up or down to control how aggressive the cut is, and the fence moves in or out to suit the width of the board. The fence also tilts to form bevels on the board edges.
