Corded Benchtop & Stationary Planers
Available1 product
Benchtop and stationary planers shave thin layers of material from wood boards to level them to a uniform thickness and smooth off rough spots. Also known as thickness or surface planers, they hold larger boards, produce more consistent results, and handle higher-volume surfacing jobs than handheld power planers. Their worktable supports workpieces as they feed under the multi-blade cutter head, which evenly trims off material. Adjustable controls set the blade height and the cutting depth. These corded planing machines allow long run times for repetitive tasks and maintain full power during operation.

Stationary Planers
Stationary planers hold larger boards, produce an even higher volume of work, and offer more advanced features than benchtop planers. They are typically used in woodworking shops to provide a fixed workstation for processing large batches of rough lumber. These dedicated planers smooth and level boards along their length.
