Pipe locators pick up signals from inspection camera sondes, remote transmitters, and flushable transmitters. They track the signals to pinpoint blockages and damaged sections of pipe, map drain lines, and locate septic tanks. This noninvasive detection method eliminates the expense and time of exploratory digging.

Pipe locators use their multi-directional antennas to detect sondes and other transmitters and navigate to their location using on the onboard display. Icons, directional arrows, and other data on the display guide the locator to the transmitter. These pipe locators stand about waist-high to set the display at a comfortable height for tracing the signal.
