Pipe fitting savers remove broken, small-diameter plastic pipe from solvent-welded joints and clean off cement residue to prepare for a new joint. They allow the fitting to stay in place, saving the time and hassle of removal and replacement. Their shank connects to a 3/8" drill, which rotates the fitting saver to ream the pipe out of the fitting. A new pipe inserts into the existing fitting without requiring a coupler or expansion fitting.
