Cordless staple guns (sometimes called power staplers) are battery-operated tools that hold U-shaped fasteners to secure thin material to wood. They are also used for upholstering, securing wire and cord, and other light-duty tasks. Brand-specific batteries can often be used with various cordless tools of the same brand/manufacturer that have the same battery series and voltage.
