Cordless torque wrenches (sometimes called nutrunners) are battery-powered tools that tighten nuts and bolts to a specific torque. Users enter a torque setting, and the tool automatically stops tightening when it reaches the desired torque. This prevents overtightening, which can damage equipment. The wrenches' square drive accepts sockets that drive the nuts and bolts.
Chicago Pneumatic Cordless Torque Wrenches
These cordless torque wrenches run on Chicago Pneumatic batteries of a compatible platform and matching voltage. The batteries can also power other Chicago Pneumatic tools. Torque wrenches tighten nuts and bolts to a predetermined torque to prevent overtightening. Users enter a torque setting, and the tool automatically stops tightening just before reaching the desired torque. The wrench can then be turned by hand for final tightening of the fastener. A digital readout displays the torque.
