Corded Die Grinders
Available12 products
Corded die grinders rotate carbide burs, mounted points, cartridge rolls, flap wheels, and other attachments for grinding, deburring, and polishing. They have no guard, so they are not for cutting. An attachment's rated speed must equal or exceed the grinder's maximum speed to prevent the attachment from breaking or flying apart. Die grinders provide light-to-moderate material removal where an angle grinder would be too large and a rotary tool would be too small. They are used for tasks such as reworking dies, polishing metal, removing gaskets, and smoothing welds. These tools plug into an outlet to allow longer run times than cordless tools, so they are well suited for repetitive tasks and applications where portability isn't a concern. They maintain full power during operation and don't have batteries that require recharging.
Straight Corded Die Grinders
Straight die grinders set their grinding head in line with the tool body and have a slim profile to reach through openings where an angled head may not fit. This alignment makes it easier to apply pressure to the grinding head for greater control with detailed work.
