Insulation Displacement Connector Crimpers
Available8 products
These crimpers add insulation displacement contact (IDC) connectors to telecom and data cable. Slots or dies in the crimper jaws are shaped to cradle IDC connectors and press them onto wire for a tight bond.
Pliers-Style IDC Crimpers
Pliers-style crimpers manually squeeze their jaws around IDC connectors. They are typically used for low-volume crimping jobs that don't require the repeatable results of a controlled-cycle crimper.

Controlled-Cycle IDC Crimpers
The controlled-cycle mechanism of these IDC connector crimpers ratchets the jaws, crimping to a preset depth and applying pressure evenly for repeatable results without overcrimping. Also known as full-cycle crimpers, they release the jaws after each crimping cycle. They form stronger, more uniform crimps than crimping pliers.
