Direct-connect RTD probes do not have a cord or cable and are not intended for permanent or fixed installations. Also known as quick-disconnect probes, they consist of a sensor and 3-pin connection type. They are often used where quick installation and removal are important requirements of the measuring device.
Direct Connect RTD for Liquid & Gas Applications
These direct-connect RTD probes measure the temperature of liquids, gases, or gels in industrial process applications and production environments. Also called immersion probes, they’re built with straight and slim sensors that have a fully enclosed or ungrounded probe that’s inserted into liquids, gels, and gases.
