Duct-Mounted & Ambient Temperature & Humidity Transmitters
Ambient temperature and humidity transmitters have sensors that are exposed to the air. These sensors measure temperature and humidity levels and transmit them to a central control panel or monitoring system. They are installed on a wall or in a duct and wired into a system. They help increase efficiency and limit energy use and are part of a preventive maintenance system by indicating potential issues due to higher or lower readings. They are commonly used in HVAC systems, building energy management systems, and for applications like greenhouses and climate-controlled applications in museums and clean rooms.
Duct-Mount Temperature & Humidity Transmitters
These transducers attach to HVAC ducts with a built-in flange; a stem-shaped probe is then inserted through a cutout in the duct to monitor and control temperature and humidity levels. The data is then transmitted as electrical signals to a control panel or HVAC control room. They’re also used to identify problem areas in ductwork for preventative and responsive maintenance.

Outdoor Ambient Temperature & Humidity Transmitters
Outdoor transmitters measure relative humidity and ambient temperature levels in an environmentally protected housing. They transmit outdoor temperature and humidity levels to a building’s economizer, which then adjusts cooling settings accordingly to reduce overall HVAC operational costs.
