Ultrasonic Flowmeters
Available6 products
Ultrasonic flowmeters emit and detect ultrasonic waves through a pipe wall, to measure the velocity and calculate the flow rate of conductive liquids inside. These flowmeters monitor flow rate to ensure the pressure is at an acceptable level and not taxing the piping system. These meters are used in pharmaceutical and food and beverage industries.
Doppler Flow Transducers
Doppler flow transducers clamp on the outside of a pipe and measure the flow rate of solids or liquids containing particles or bubbles. The first transducer emits an ultrasonic signal into the pipe, which reflects off the particles in the liquid. The second transducer senses the reflected signal, measures the velocity of the liquid, and calculates the flow of that liquid.

Dedicated Doppler Ultrasonic Meters
Dedicated doppler ultrasonic meters measure the flow rate of solids or liquids that contain particles or bubbles, like food and beverage, wastewater, or slurry. A transducer emits an ultrasonic signal, which reflects off these particles, allowing the other transducer to measure the velocity and calculate the flow rate. These ultrasonic flowmeters do not come into contact with the system liquid, minimizing the need for alterations to system plumbing.
