Ultrasonic flowmeter transducers connect to a compatible ultrasonic flowmeter and clamp on the outside of a pipe. The first transducer emits an ultrasonic signal into the pipe. The second picks up that signal, measures the velocity of the liquid between the two transducers and calculates the flow of that liquid.
