Pitot Tubes & Airflow Sensors
Pitot Tubes
Standard pitot tubes are constructed of stainless steel for corrosion resistance and are graduated to allow the user to quickly reach the needed insertion depth. Pitot tubes connect to a manometer or differential pressure gauge or transmitter to monitor or control airflow or velocity in HVAC systems. These plain pitot tubes are compatible with direct-mounting in ducts and many kinds of mounting hardware.

Pitot Tubes with Compression Fittings
These pitot tubes mount to a duct with a compression fitting. The compression fitting allows the pitot tube to be fixed into position when it’s inserted into a duct. These pitot tubes connect to a manometer or differential pressure gauge or transmitter to monitor and control air velocity or airflow in HVAC systems.

General Purpose Plastic Averaging Airflow Sensors
These averaging plastic flow sensors have a flange with sensors. They are mounted to square and round ducts and are connected to a manometer, gauge, switch, or transmitter with flexible tubing. These sensors read pressure for monitoring and control. They are used on air and gases compatible with plastic, for HVAC zone control, sensing fan-flow rates, and for retrofitting HVAC airflow measurement.

Blade-Style Metal Averaging Airflow Sensors
These averaging flow sensors are secured to square or rectangular ducts with a flange. They have dual barbed connections for the tubing that connects them to a manometer, differential pressure gauge, switch, or transmitter. They’re durable, have metal wetted parts, and are typically used in airflow measurement in variable air velocity (VAV) applications, for the verification of fume hood exhaust flow, and for airflow measurement in HVAC retrofit applications.
