Clamp-jaw meters have iron jaws sheathed in plastic that fasten around different types of conductors to measure electrical current. These instruments show measurements on a large digital display.

The flexible coil jaws on these meters loop around bus bars, cables, or other conductors to record electrical current. Also called Rogowski or air-cored coils, these corded jaws remain tethered to the meter and reach conductors of different sizes in tight spaces. Their unique coil jaws allow them to be wrapped around conductors several times to amplify both current flow and accuracy.
