Disposable welding respirators filter airborne particles and withstand exposure to high heat better than standard respirators. They have straps that fit around the back of the head and form a seal around the mouth and nose to help ensure a secure fit. Disposable respirators are designed to be thrown away after one wearing.
N95 Welding Respirators with Exhalation Valve
These disposable N95 welding respirators are worn where there is exposure to high heat and airborne particles. N95 respirators filter at least 95% of airborne particles. They are not oil-resistant. The exhalation valve opens automatically when the wearer breaths out to allow breath to exit the mask quickly, keeping the wearer cooler and more comfortable. The valve automatically closes when the wearer inhales to ensure all air breathed in is filtered.
