Mobile medical equipment workstations are used for storing and transporting diagnostic, exam, and patient-care equipment in hospitals and other medical facilities. They have surfaces for computers, monitors, printers, and other equipment that will be accessed frequently. They also have drawers and/or cabinets for storing supplies and equipment accessories.

Specialized medical supply carts are configured with drawers, bars, and other features that optimize them for storing and organizing particular types of supplies, such as IVs, sutures, sterile wraps, and catheters. The carts' casters are designed to roll quietly, which helps reduce noise that can disturb patients. The casters' wheels will not mark floors.
