Cold-Condition Insulated Gloves
Cold-condition gloves and mitts are insulated to keep hands warm. They are worn when working outdoors, restocking frozen food, and when working on fishing boats or in cold storage rooms. Chemical-resistant gloves withstand hazardous liquids. Knit gloves are breathable and formfitting and have a cuff to keep the glove in place and keep out dirt and other contaminants. Mechanics- and riggers-style gloves have good dexterity and are often worn when performing basic tasks in general maintenance and repair operations. Leather gloves resist wear and provide a balance of abrasion resistance and dexterity and are used in forestry, landscaping, and general construction. Rubber gloves resist liquids when stocking frozen foods, fishing, and performing pool and pond maintenance.
