Protective Sleeves
Protective sleeves protect arms from cuts, chemical splash, dirt, and light abrasion. Sleeves start at the wrist and move up the arm and are often worn to extend glove coverage. General purpose sleeves protect against dirt, grime, minor abrasion, and dry, non-hazardous materials. Chemical-protective sleeves provide supplemental protection against hazardous and non-hazardous substances. Cut-resistant sleeves meet ANSI/ISEA 105 standards to protect against cuts and lacerations. Electrical-insulating sleeves are worn with compatible electrical-insulating gloves to protect workers from arc-flash and burns when workers are near electrical hazards. Heat-resistant sleeves meet ASTM F1060 standards to protect against burns from hot surfaces. Needlestick-resistant sleeves meet ANSI/ISEA 105 standards to protect against punctures from hypodermic needles and sharp blades.
