Copper rods are solid, round lengths of metal often used for parts and components in commercial and industrial applications. Rods have round cross sections and are 6” or greater in length, while discs are less than 6” long. They are available in different material grades for use in specific applications.
General Purpose 110 Copper Rods
Grade 110 copper rods resist corrosion, are easy to work and solder, and serve as good electrical and thermal conductors. These rods are often manufactured into plumbing hardware, wiring and electrical parts and components, furniture and ornamental parts, and materials supporting telecommunications applications. Grade 110 is also known as electrolytic tough pitch (ETP) copper.

Highly-Conductive 101 Copper Rods
These highly-conductive rods are made from grade 101 copper which is commercially pure. They are easy to solder, braze, weld, and form. They are often manufactured into automotive parts and components, conductors, or other parts that require electrical or thermal conductivity.
