Bronze rods and discs come in different material grades with distinct levels of strength and corrosion- and wear-resistance properties. Select grades also have self-lubricating properties to help them withstand extended periods of wear. Rods have round cross sections and are 6” or greater in length, while discs are less than 6” long.

Wear-Resistant 954 Bronze Discs
Grade 954 bronze discs contain aluminum and iron for added strength, machinability, and wear resistance properties. These corrosion-resistant discs can be welded or brazed and are often manufactured into wear strips and plates, valves, pumps, bearings, and machine tools. Grade 954 bronze is also known as aluminum bronze.
