Bronze rods and discs come in different material grades with distinct levels of strength and corrosion- and wear-resistance properties. Select grades also have self-lubricating properties to help them withstand extended periods of wear. Rods have round cross sections and are 6” or greater in length, while discs are less than 6” long.

Self Lubricating High Speed Oilite Bronze Discs
Oilite bronze discs contain AM1-SPD synthetic oil that provides longer life, less friction, and a wider temperature range than grade 841 self-lubricating discs. They are often used for bearings, bushings, self-lubricating pumps, or other moving parts and components in industrial and machining applications in remote or inaccessible areas.

High-Strength 841 Bronze Discs
Grade 841 powdered bronze discs contain SAE 30-weight oil to provide self-lubricating properties. They have a high degree of strength and are often used for bearings, bushings, self-lubricating pumps, or other moving parts and components in industrial and machining applications in remote or inaccessible areas. Grade 841 is also called sintered bronze.
