Grade 260 brass sheets and plates are highly formable and ductile. These sheets and plates are strong, resist corrosion, and provide good finishing characteristics. They are often manufactured into electrical, architectural, and appliance parts as well as casings for bullets, but should not be used with corrosive acids or ammonia. Grade 260 is also known as cartridge or yellow brass.
