Grade 260 brass flat bars are highly formable, ductile, and can be finished to exact tolerances. These flat bars are strong, resist corrosion, and provide good finishing characteristics. They are often manufactured into electrical, architectural, and appliance parts as well as casings for bullets, but should not be used with corrosive acids or ammonia. Grade 260 is also known as cartridge or yellow brass.
