These centrifugal pumps meet UL (Underwriters Laboratories) requirements for use in hazardous locations. 316 Stainless Steel Hazardous Location Pumps
These hazardous location pumps have 316 stainless steel housing. 316 stainless steel is more corrosion and abrasion resistant than cast iron and aluminum. 316 stainless steel is highly resistant to chemicals. It's suited for outdoor applications where it may be exposed to sunlight, rain, and debris that would damage plastic-based pumps.
