Pedestal Pumps
Pedestal pumps transfer or continuously circulate liquids through a system. These pumps are belt or pulley-driven. Different pump housing materials suit various liquids and can handle potable water if NSF-certified. Cast iron is more cost-effective but less corrosion-resistant than stainless steel, bronze, and aluminum. Aluminum resists corrosion better than cast iron and is lightweight. Bronze is corrosion-resistant and can handle potable water if NSF-certified. Stainless steel resists corrosion better than other materials and handles a wider range of liquids, including potable water if NSF-certified.

Bronze Housing
Bronze offers more corrosion resistance than cast iron while being more cost-effective than stainless steel. If they are NSF-certified, these pumps can be used for potable water applications.

Stainless Steel Housing
Stainless Steel is very corrosion resistant but is more expensive than other pump housing materials. If they are NSF-certified, these pumps can be used for potable water applications.
