These submersible electric bilge pumps are battery-powered and have a higher flow rate than hand-operated bilge pumps when used to drain a boat's bilge water. They can be connected to a switch or control box for automatic start when the water rises to a certain level in the bilge, and automatic stop when the water is drained down in the bilge to a preset level.
