Potable Circulating Pumps
Available107 products
Potable circulating pumps move hot water through pipe systems to faucets and shower heads. These pumps are intended for drinkable water and are constructed of bronze or stainless steel to prevent corrosion. Their gold color helps identify them as potable water pumps. These pumps reduce water waste by recirculating hot water that has cooled back into the cold water supply line. They are used in residential, commercial, and industrial applications to help plumbing systems deliver instant hot water.
Standard Potable Circulating Pumps
Standard potable circulating pumps have fewer replaceable wear parts than 3-piece circulating pumps. These pumps are mounted to the pipe in-line near the water heater or boiler.

3-Piece Potable Circulating Pumps
3-piece potable circulating pumps have a detachable pump, motor, and bearing assembly to aid maintenance and replacement needs. They are capable of handling higher head and flow rates than standard pumps. These pumps are mounted to the pipe in-line near the water heater or boiler and, in most cases, can be left in place while serviced which reduces system downtime.

Energy Efficient Potable Circulating Pumps
Energy efficient potable circulating pumps use less energy than other circulating pumps. They have an electronically commutated motor (ECM) that automatically adjusts the flow rate through variable speed control to meet hot water demand. The maximum flow at feet of head is listed at the pump's maximum speed setting. These pumps are mounted to the pipe in-line near the water heater or boiler.

Multi-Speed Potable Circulating Pumps
Multi-speed potable circulating pumps have three speeds that can be manually changed to meet different performance levels. Pump performance needs can change based on the configuration of a plumbing system or to meet periods of low and high demand. With multiple speeds, they work well as a replacement pump because they can match the performance of most standard circulating pumps. The maximum flow at feet of head is listed at the pump's maximum speed setting. These pumps are mounted to the pipe in-line near the water heater or boiler.

Under-Sink Potable Circulating Pumps
Under-sink potable circulating pumps are designed to mount at the farthest faucet from the water heater. They pull hot water from the heating source through the pipes to provide instant hot water for all faucets between the water heater and the pump. They can be used where a dedicated water return line is not available. Additional tubing may be required to install these pumps.
